[12:58, 07/02/2024] 4 to Me 2 LIVE is CHRIST: That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, "Let us go over to the other side." Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?" He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?"
Mark 4:35-40
How has the weather been in your area? You may not have faced a weather storm recently, but you may be going through a storm in your personal life.
Do you believe in the power of your Lord Jesus?
They were terrified and asked each other, "Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!"
Mark 4:41
If you are in a personal storm, I know it may feel like the winds of circumstances seem to be blowing so strongly that you feel like you are drowning. I pray that you will re-read Mark 4 about Jesus calming the storm. That is one prayer you can keep on praying by using that specific scripture. You can say, "Lord, I know you can speak to this storm of ___ and calm the winds. Nothing is too hard for you! Thank you, Lord. Amen."
Set your mind and keep it set on our Lord Jesus calming the raging storms that are tearing apart your home as if they were being thrown up in the whirlwinds of the seas. Jesus is the is ONLY One who can calm those raging seas.
Through the challenges you face, I pray that you would come to know your Lord Jesus deeply so that you know He is right there with you.
Are you afraid that you are drowning because of your problems and there is no one to help you? Are you like the disciples and fearful of the circumstances as they were in their boat? What did Jesus say to them? He responded in a rebuke. "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?"
[14:44, 07/02/2024] 4 to Me 2 LIVE is CHRIST: WHATEVER YOU SAY CAN AND WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU IN A COURT OF LAW
"You have minds like a snake pit! How do you suppose what you say is worth anything when you are so foul-minded? It's your heart, not the dictionary, that gives meaning to your words. A good person produces good deeds and words season after season. An evil person is a blight on the orchard. Let me tell you something: Every one of these careless words is going to come back to haunt you. There will be a time of Reckoning. Words are powerful; take them seriously. Words can be your salvation. Words can also be your damnation."
Mathew 12:34-37
In some regimes before an arresting officer effects an arrest or takes a statement from a suspect he or she informs the suspect of his or her right or liberty to say whatever he or she wanted to say BUT GIVES a caution statement concerning whatever he or she says as follows:
'Anything you say may be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to consult an attorney before speaking to the police and to have an attorney present during questioning now or in the future. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you before any questioning if you wish.'
This sets the stage for the drama that would ensue until incarceration or acquittal and discharge. It is worth stating that it is not everyone in prison who have IN TRUTH committed the crimes for which they are serving a prison term. Some have found themselves there because of what they said right or did not say right. That's why hiring a lawyer who has been trained to talk to do that on your behalf is important.
Bible says by thy WORDS thou shall be justified, and by thy WORDS thou shall be condemned. This is the biblical principle from which the legal principle of convicting or acquittal of a suspect is premised. It informs the caution statement concerning whatever the suspect has to say before and or during trial.
But at the end of TIME if the long arm of the law does not incarcerate you for the IDDLE WORDS you spoke, published or republished through social media, God says you SHALL GIVE ACCOUNT OF EVERY IDDLE WORD SPOKEN.
This is the time to sound courteous, reconcilatory, tolerant, accommodating and patient in your utterances and most especially your post on mainstream media and social media.
You don't have to spew foul and iddle words to prove the guilt or stupidity of your strategic competitor or perceived enemy as it were. You SHALL GIVE ACCOUNT OF EVERY IDDLE WORD SPOKEN.
This is not the time to prove that he or she is wrong by stressing your knowledge in insulting and provocative language. Be sober and cool headed in putting your OPINION or PERSPECTIVE accros.
