MEN OUGHT TO PRAY ALWAYS

'..., that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;'

Luke 1:18

Why will Jesus Christ ask Men (generic) to Pray Always? The King James Bible used the word OUGHT; this word connotes a duty or the correctness of something. It is often used when criticising someone or an activity. "You OUGHT to read your BIBLE everyday." "You OUGHT to Pray Always - 24/7." Stated in another way, "It is correct to Pray and read your BIBLE Always".

Jesus Christ is therefore telling us, it is our duty to Pray Always. Or in other words, it is correct, good or  expedient et cetera to Pray Always. Why will He ask us to Pray Always or without Ceasing? My Book is a 44 Page Pocket Size short exposė on prayer. I made it handy and concise because most people feel lazy to read.
