LAUGH AT 'THE FEAR OF THE UNKOWN'
'...she LAUGHS without fear of the future.'
Proverbs 31:25
'She is clothed with STRENGTH and DIGNITY...', Glory to God! That's the opening sentence of Proverbs 31:25. That's the heiress of the King of Kings. A dignified personality, with a dignified smile, certain of the future. Because she knows who she is: a joint heir with Christ.
One of the challenges of humanity and most especially human resource managers, employers and employees alike is 'THE FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN. Many a bright and hopeful future has been pushed to the back burner with some of them lying in the sepulchre awaiting the second coming of Christ. But the King's Heiress laughs at the future with certainty and dignity.
Bible says, 'Then our mouths were filled with laughter and our tongues with joyful songs. Then the nation's said, "The LORD has done spectacular things for them." The LORD has done spectacular things for us. WE ARE OVERJOYED.
Joy unspeakable! What are you waiting for to begin and go through the day with laughter? LAUGH till the devil cannot take it any longer. Laughter connotes derision of the devil and the phrase, 'The fear of the unknown.'
Do you wake up sometimes in the morning and you feel sad but, you cannot trace the source or reason? This is not healthy and normal. It is not normal as that feeling sits and emanates from your SOUL, not your spirit or inner man: the real you. Be cheerful because, a cheerful heart is a GOOD MEDICINE, but a broken spirit saps a person's strength (Proverbs 17:22). Everyday is a continual feast for the happy heart (Proverbs 15:15). Surprisingly the despondent gets upset when you always laugh NO MATTER WHAT. They can't just accept it, hence they describe you, as not being a serious person. ONLY God knows what they meant by that. They claim life is serious business not a joke. They liken laughter to being a joker. They have missed it all, hence everyday brings trouble to them.
God laughs at the wicked. The devil hates to see you laugh as you perceive his scheme and wiles. We are not ignorant of his devices for him to get an advantage of us (2 Corinthians 2:11); so, we LAUGH to get him mad.
The wicked plot against the godly; they snarl at them in defiance. BUT THE LORD JUST LAUGHS, for He sees their day of judgment coming (Psalm 37: 12-13). '...But the one who rules in heaven LAUGHS. The Lord scoffs at them (Psalm 2: 3-4). But LORD, You LAUGH at them...(Psalm 59:7-8).
Why have you frowned? Why are you in anguish? Life is serious they told you, so be serious. LAUGH my dear. Bible says, 'And Sarah declared, "God has brought me LAUGHTER. All who hear about this will laugh with me. Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse a baby? Yet I HAVE GIVEN ABRAHAM A SON IN HIS OLD AGE!" Laugh like Sarah, because the Lord has laughed at the devil and his cohorts. LAUGH because those who hear and perceives your laughter will LAUGH with you. You are blessed and a blessing unto your generation, so go out there and LAUGH at the future.
"For I know the plans I have for you" DECLARES THE LORD "plans to PROSPER you and not to harm you, plans to GIVE YOU HOPE AND A FUTURE. Jeremiah 29:11. The creator of the universe has declared 'plans to give you HOPE AND A FUTURE' and you say otherwise? Clinging unto the song of the world, it is 'The Fear of the Unknown'? Which of the unknowns? The one declared by the devil, your colleagues at work, your peers, your friends, your enemies, your family, whichever, whatever and whomever? LAUGH! For the LORD LAUGHS at the wicked. LAUGH! Because laughter is medicinal and a derision of the devil and his cohorts.
CAUTION
Don't laugh over or at certain jokes or habits, as it is an unexcusable behaviour. Bible says, 'But among you there must not be either sexual immortality, impurity of any kind, or greed, as THESE ARE NOT FITTING FOR THE SAINTS. Neithrr shoukd there be vulgar speech, foolish talk, or coarse jesting - ALL OF WHICH ARE OUT OF CHARACTER - ...'
Don't laugh at others because you think they deserve what they are going through; like Job said, 'I have become a laughingstock to my friends,... - a mere laughingstock...
