GIVE UNTIL IT HURTS
Give and it shall be given unto you; GOOD measure, press down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. FOR WITH THE SAME MEASURE that you meet with IT SHALL BE MEASURED TO YOU AGAIN.

You are giving because the Bible says so. Bible says GIVE!
You don't give premised on what or how you feel or think. If you do that, you are FLESHY, operating from your SOUL and Body. Your soul is made up of your WILL (power to decide), MIND (power and ability to think) and your EMOTIONS. So anytime you think, feel and or decide premised on the previous two then, you are operating from your SOUL. That's why Bible says, 'DO NOT be conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your MIND (referring to your soul). So you speak and talk Luke 6:38 UNTIL YOU THINK, FEEL and DECIDE like God gave His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON. Like JESUS CHRIST gave His very life a ransom for you. Like Papa Abraham gave Isaac et cetera.
GIVE UNTIL IT HURTS and CONTINUE GIVING UNTIL IT FEELS GOOD TO GIVE. Glory to God! Stupidity and synchophancy you may yell out. Yes! It is not for a joke that the infallible WORD OF GOD says, "For the preaching of the cross is foolishness TO THOSE WHO PERISH;..." To you, who is perishing, it is foolishness and absurdity TO GIVE UNTIL IT HURTS. There are people who give because it make them feel superior to those receiving. In fact it feels good to give. Glory to God! I am talking from experience. When you have, it feels really GOOD to give. So the world knows it FEELS GOOD TO GIVE and does so. But the golden rule is GIVE UNTIL IT HURTS: give your ALL. Get to that point, then breakthrough to the realm of GIVING UNTIL IT FEELS GOOD TO GIVE.
Some people think those of us who keep talking about giving are rich. Yes I am rich. Does my name ring a bell? Richard, Ritchie, Ricky et cetera. She calls me RICH, just to reassure herself, she married a Rich man. Rich means, having a great deal of money or assets; wealthy. But the fact is, I am not ONLY RICH, I AM PROSPEROUS. You know why? Because I AM THE KING'S CHILD. The earth IS THE LORD'S, and EVERYTHING IN IT, the world and ALL WHO LIVE IN IT(Psalm 24:1) and I AM THE LORD'S! Joy beyond expression; joy unspeakable! Glory to God!
I am writing about giving until it hurts and until it feels good to give. I am writing about being rich and prosperous because I KNOW MY GOD. I KNOW THE LORD and Bible says, those who know their God WILL BE STRONG AND DO EXPLOITS.
So my reason for writing is for you to know my God, as He said in Ezekiel 11:12; "Thus YOU will KNOW that I AM THE LORD. for you have not walked in My statutes...' Glory to God! "Cease striving and KNOW THAT I AM GOD;..." (Psalm 46:10) saith The Lord.
You don't have to wait until you get plenty like I have, to GIVE. If you are FAITHFUL with LITTLE THINGS, YOU WILL BE FAITHFUL IN LARGE ONES. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities. Luke 16:10.
If you cannot command a Section of Troops, NO ONE will give you command of a Platoon, a Company, a Battalion, a Brigade, a Formation, a Corps, an Army, or an Armed Forces. You must be proven and tested on the job, as having what it takes to lead officers and soldiers to war and to administer them in war and peace times. So GIVE UNTIL IT HURTS and CONTINUE GIVING UNTIL IT FEELS GOOD TO GIVE. Give as a Section Commander, as a Platoon Commander, as a Battalion Commander,... Formation Commander... until you will be found worthy to command an Army or an Armed Forces.
In ministry give as a member of the Body of Christ, as a cell/department/teen et cetera leader, as a deacon/deaconess, as a coordinator or lay preacher until you are found worthy to pastor a church. If you cannot give as a member of the Body of Christ or as a cell leader, NO ONE will give you a church to pastor. What are you going to give your congregation if you are not a giver?
