Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
1 Timothy 1:5
Another rendition puts it this way:
The whole point of what we're urging is simply love — love uncontaminated by self-interest and counterfeit faith, a life open to God.

Why do you do what you do the way you do it? What is your motive? What is your intent?
You ask, does my motive or intent for doing what I do and the way I do it matter? Yes, a million times Yes, it DOES. Bible says in Proverbs 21:2, that,
'Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.' God looks beyond your action, in-actions, utterances, and silence. Bible says in Galatians 1:10 that,
'For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.'
You may be doing or saying the right thing. You may also be doing or saying the right thing at the right time and place but with a wrong motive. What drives you? What inspires you to act, talk, be quite or passive and inactive? This defines who you are to the core: Luke 6:45, says,
'A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: *for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.'*
What drives or inspires you to act, talk, be silent or indifferent? I listened to a message by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome titled *'The Pursuit and Power of Purpose'.* It is a must listen message. Go for it and listen to it. It would realign your motive and intent for acting, talking, silence and inactivity to conform to the WORD OF GOD.
'And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.'
