Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!” And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb. Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.
Romans 4:18-21
How is your faith at this hour? Do you feel that you are at a time when there is no longer hope?
You are probably going through one of the most difficult days of this trial. You feel alone, sad, without strength. Your husband/wife is living with the other person, even with marriage plans or a baby on the way. Your financial obligations overwhelm you, you don't have enough money. You feel emotionally weak. Everything is dark around you. Your thoughts do not leave you alone. You may think that God has not heard your prayer. You think that your spouse is happy now and you are still in this situation. Everyone judges you, judges your faith. You have tried to believe that God can restore your marriage but then that idea is gone and you just say: this is not for me, it's over!
Cry out to God for His mercy; for bible says:
So, let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:16
The best thing is that whenever I approached God, He had an answer for me. He always brought me back to my stand, to increase my faith, and again to believe that He had everything under control and that His plans for me were in His hands,
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
Could you test your faith today and rise to a new state of supernatural faith?
Would you be willing to believe and trust in a new way; that you have a God capable of doing what in our eyes seems impossible?
If you feel hopeless today, I want to tell you that God loves to work in scenarios of complete darkness. In those moments where everything seems meaningless, that's when God wants to move in your favour. In the wilderness, in the midst of impossibility, God wants to become great to show His power. So, if you are experiencing the most difficult time of your life, it is because God is about to work “suddenly” in your favour. Just as Abraham believed and had hope when everything was against him, so God expects your faith to be. He is about to do something great and He will do it according to your faith in the midst of a hopeless place.
Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” Matthew 19:26
