Good morning special one. Greetings from the family of Ritchie's Virtual Church. As we traverse the first working week of the month of August let us take a tour through the Bible to perceive and understand the Bible's teachings on the *New Covenant* in this *Month of Praise*:
❤
" Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when *I will make a new covenant* with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: *I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbour and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”*
Jeremiah 31:31-34

14 Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our hearts from deeds that lead to death so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, *Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.*
15 *That is why he is the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people,* so that all who are invited can *receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them.* For *Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant.*
Hebrews 9

19 Then he took a loaf of bread; and when he had thanked God for it, he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, " This is my body, given for you. Do this in remembrance of me. "
20 After supper he took another cup of wine and said, " *This wine is the token of God's new covenant to save you—an agreement sealed with the blood I will pour out for you.*

7 *If the first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need for a second covenant to replace it.*
8 *But God himself found fault with the old one* when he said: "The day will come, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah.

5 It is not that we think we can do anything of lasting value by ourselves. *Our only power and success come from God.*
6 *He is the one who has enabled us to represent his new covenant.* This is a covenant, not of written laws, but of the Spirit. *The old way ends in death; in the new way, the Holy Spirit gives life.*

*There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.* For the law of *the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.* For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. *By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,* in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. ...

For *sin will have no dominion over you,* since you are not under law but under grace.

But when *Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come,* then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation) *he entered once for all into the holy places,* not by means of the blood of goats and calves but *by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption.* For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer, sanctify for the purification of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to *God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.* Therefore *he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance,* since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.

Through the mediation of Jesus Christ in the *New Covenant* what does the infallible WORD OF GOD say about those of us who have believed with our heart and confess with our mouth His Lordship over our lives? *:*
23 *You have come to the assembly of God's firstborn children, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God himself, who is the judge of all people.* And you have come to the spirits of the redeemed in heaven who have now been made perfect.
24 *You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people,* and to the sprinkled blood, *which graciously forgives instead of crying out for vengeance as the blood of Abel did.*
