"Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God"
Philippians 2:14-15
Grumbling implies we don't trust God. But He expects us to trust Him in every situation, with the assurance that He is a loving Father, unchangeable and utterly trustworthy. Grumbling, like all sin, is against God. There can be no excuse for blaming Him for the hard or negative things in our lives.
Science
When you complain, you increase your levels of cortisol, also known as the stress hormone. Chronically high levels of cortisol can lead to a variety of health problems, including
increased risk of depression, digestive problems, sleep issues, higher blood pressure and even increased risk of heart disease.
Some research suggests that making a habit of complaining can “re-wire” the brain so that those particular thinking orientations become ingrained.
God hates these 3:
1. Haughty eyes: Haughty eyes deals with pride and God hates pride. ...
2. A lying tongue: A lying tongue is a reminder that all words count. ...
3. Hands that shed innocent blood: Innocence does not imply sinlessness.
Instead of grumbling practice the following:
Show Gratitude.
Praise Others.
Focus on Success.
Let Go.
Pray.
