Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2
Are you living your life and marriage like it is a race which must be run with "perseverance?" This race is a lifelong test of our faith and we must run it with perseverance. The Lord warns us to not to shrink back, but believe, live by faith and know who you are in Christ.
Do you have faith to believe for your marriage to be restored? Do you have faith for your son or daughter to be saved or delivered from rebellion, drugs, or alcohol? You need to walk in faith knowing that you may have times of suffering but your Lord is right there with you all the time.
God's Word will teach you many keys or principles that are important in learning how to stand firm in your faith for your marriage to be resurrected from the dead by the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth.
Paul wrote a letter to the church of the Thessalonians and what he wrote is to encourage you:
Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing. Therefore, among God's churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring. 2 Thessalonians 1:2-4
